Supervision

I am a qualified and experienced supervisor offering a warm, creative and welcoming space. I am trained to supervise children’s work, young people and adult work, and have significant experince managing and supervising. The relationship between myself as a supervisor and you as a supervisee (or groups) will be a unique one. You’ll bring your own learning style, experiences, your fears as well as confidences - I’ll offer you my experience, training, energy, resources and knowledge to suppport and encourage you in your role. I’ll respond to your needs as I’m able within professional boundaries, which we will both be responsible for respecting. I have over 20 years experience of providing supervision. I can discuss reduced fees for trainee therapists on a low income. I am an accredited member of the BACP and have studied a degree in Psychological Studies (including attachment, systemic and analytic therapy), am a trained and qualified Social Worker and hold a Master’s in Social Psychology (mental health treatment). 

I am happy to provide monthly supervision and consultation for the voluntary section and have previously supported Counselling and Social Work students in their final year of study, as well as more experienced Social Workers, Psychologists, clinical leads and directors. I have significant experience in workiing with disabilities, vunerable groups, attachment difficulties and children and adults with complex needs and mental health issues.

I can provide a confidential and welcoming space where you can explore your feelings around your work. I am happy to provide work place mentoring, support and guidance to all allied professionals that support children, young people, adults and families.
